Beach House Mini Album - continued

Sorry for the delay. It's been a busy several days. I always think life will slow a bit once school is back in session. Yet, that isn't always the case. In any case, I was finally able to upload and edit the still photos I took of the Beach House album.  {Attention: Picture heavy post!}

Thanks for stopping by for  a visit. If you're interested in the details of what was used, please see the previous post.

Have a great day!

Beach House Mini Album

A friend of mine just became a Grandma!!  Her oldest daughter just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I'm so excited for her. I was invited to the baby shower but was out of town when it happened. But, that ended up being a good thing. I was able to use that extra time when I got back to make her an album.

She had asked for books as part of her gift so she could build a library for her child. Originally I thought I'd make a run to the closest book store to find some fun books. Then I remembered one of my son's most favorite book, which he still goes back to again and again, is an album I put together for him when he was small. It was a small album that had only a handful of pictures in it: parents, grandparents x2, and him. He looked at it over and over.

So, of course I needed to make her an album. This one will hold more than 70 pictures, but she comes from a pretty big family so I'm sure it will be no hardship to fill.  Hope you enjoy the video. I will upload the still pictures soon.

St. Patrick's Treat with Video Tutorial

It's been a while. The holidays were busy. Then the FLU hit our house in a big way. (Meaning...we all got hit, but I got hit the hardest. Sick for days. bleh...) So glad that's over.

And then I decided maybe I ought to try something new on my blog. I got some equipment, some software, and over the course of several days, found some time.

Then, I filmed a quick tutorial. Filming was the easy part. Editing was a pain. I tried several different freebie softwares and apps that I found online. None did what I wanted them to do. I think I wasted a whole day just finding the right software. Anywho.... Here is my premier.  It's not Oscar worthy, but I think it does the job.

If you want to watch at YouTube, you can go here.

Let me know what you think. If I get a good response I'll do more. If not, well, you know...

I know it's only Monday, but I hope you're week is going well so far. Thanks for stopping by.
