With all if the school supply ads and promos in stores I got an idea in my head to whip up some fun notepad gifts. I have a Dollar Tree store a mile from my home that had some bright colored pens and 3-1/2"x5" notepads in stock so I used them to make the gifts with.
But then I thought, "What if these notepads aren't in stock when I want to refill my notepad holder?" Welł, it's pretty easy to put together some homemade notepads, in custom sizes to fit what ever holder or purpose you want them for.
I simply repurposed an empty cereal box chipboard for the backing, cut down some binder filler paper, bound it together with some Pad/Book Compound, and viola! Homemade notepads! I can stick a magnet on the back and put it on my fridge, put it in a holder like the ones pictured above and keep it by my phone or in my purse, and I'm ready to write a note when the need arises. Love that!
That's all for today. Thanks for visiting. Hope you have a terrific day!
