Baby Boy / Family Album

I've got another album to share today. My niece had a baby shower a few weeks ago. She and her sweet hubby are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in just a couple short weeks. I wasn't able to attend the shower (it was in another state) but I was able to put together an album for them to load up with pictures of their sweet son.

The basic design of the album is the same as the last few I've made and shared on the blog. The size is 6"x6" with 5-1/2"x5-1/2" pages. This time I added some different flaps, added a couple angled pockets, and turned one of the pages on its end to give the page a different look.

Once again, I added a pocket to the front cover with a couple pull-outs.

I placed a nice size pocket with a pull-out inside the front cover.

The first page has a flap that unfolds to the left...
...and a large flap...

...that lifts up to reveal a good size pocket with a pull-out inside.

On page two I added another flap that folds out to the left.

Page three is an angled pocket with a bi-fold pull-out.

Page four is the backside of the angled pocket.... Snazzy, right?

Page five has a flap the folds up...

....then a larger flap that folds out to the right...

...revealing a large pocket with a pull-out.

On page six there is a horizontal pocket...

... holding both a flat pull-out and a smaller bi-fold pull-out.

The next page is another angled pocket holding a bi-fold pull-out.

Here's the backside of the angled pocket. Love that dotty paper!

Then a page similar to the first page with a small flap that folds out to the left...

...then a larger flap that lifts up...

...to reveal a large pocket holding a pull-out.

On the back I put a simple corner pocket/holder.

Then on the inside of the back cover I tried something I haven't done before. I created two flaps than fold over each other and are held in place by a magnet. The flaps can hold four pictures or pictures and journaling and then a large picture spot is revealed on the inside of the back cover.

Here's the outside of the album showing the covers and spine.

It is hard to tell but I embossed the Kraftex closure with a houndstooth patterned embossing folder to make it less blah.

And, that's it! Nice and bright colors, fun patterns, and oodles of places for photos and journaling. Perfect for a new mom and dad!

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day.
