For the Chef -of-the- Family

I have another album creation. This one was created for a friend of mine who recently took a cooking course. She loved it so much she was sad to see it end. She loves to cook...even if it's only for her family and friends. But who knows? Maybe her next step will be Le Cordon Bleu.

I created a double-sided, tri-fold pull-out booklet for the pocket on the cover.

And a bi-fold pull-out for the inside-the-cover pocket.

Each page is set up the same way: 5"x7" with a flip-up flap which hides a pocket. Each pocket holds a 4-1/2"x6-1/2" pull-out tag. I cut the tabs that are attached to the end of each Tate using my Silhouette. And attached a mix of paper flowers using a metallic mini-brad for durability.

Here is the last page...

Inside the back-of-the-cover pocket are two small pullout tags and a large (4-1/2"x7") bi-fold booklet.once again I decorated the front of the booklet with a mix of paper flowers attached to a trimmed-down tab and metallic mini-brad.

On the spine I added some charms: "G: Genuine", "D" for her initial and a spoon for obvious reasons. Then tied on some scraps of ribbon.

After taking all the previous pics, I decided the binding decor needed just a little bit more something so I added a strip of this cotton crocheted ribbon. Now it's complete! Voila!

C'est bon, no?

I hope you like it. And maybe it inspires you to make an album. Or do some baking? Anyway.... Thanks for visiting. Have a fantastic day!
