Another Chocolatey Gift

Hiya!
I wanted to give a little gift to the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) that helps my son so much. I started by making another batch of cake balls. Then I gathered some general measurements so I could make a box for them to fit inside.
The base was made with some lightweight chipboard. For the lid I used a piece of patterned card/paper from DCWV Glitter stack. I cut a window in the lid using my Coluzzle and backed it with some transparency.
Before filling the box I created a parchment paper liner to make the box more food-safe. I didn't want the chocolate sticking to the chipboard or creating unsightly oil stains. Plus, who knows where this chipboard has been or who has touched it, right? I wasn't as concerned about the lid since their is enough space between the top of the cake balls and the lid. Unless the box tips or the lid gets smashed they shouldn't make contact.
I was able to get 16 of these little yummies into the box. That's enough for her (and her hubby should she decide to share) right?
Here it is all tied up pretty with a sheer chocolate brown ribbon from my stash. Hmmm... something's missing. Oh, right! A gift card.
I created a little pocket from chocolate brown card and cut an insert from white card to go inside. I decorated the pocket and the insert using scraps left over from making the box.
I added a sentiment using the Say It Loud stamp set by WMS using SU!'s Soft Suede ink. I tied the pocket to the ribbon using a bit of rustic jute from PTI.

We're expecting 3-digit temps again every day this week so for now this little gift is tucked in my fridge between the butter and the yogurt so that they won't melt between now and when I see her tomorrow.

Thanks again for stopping by for a visit. Hope you have a fantastic day!
