UGH....

Well, for those waiting to hear how my first class went. It didn't. It got cancelled. Actually, I found it had been cancelled on Thursday when I called to see how many people had signed up and the lady told me no one did. Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net Maybe I was hoping 10 people would walk into the store on Friday and all sign up. In any case, it was good thing the class was scheduled, but it was also bad.

Good because it's my son's 4th birthday on Thursday (Happy Birthday kiddo!), and since hubby has been out of town on business all week, we were able to celebrate today.

It's been bad because even though I didn't think I cared that much about it... subconsciously it seems to have killed my creativity mojo. I'll get it back, eventually, but for right now I don't have any finished projects to share. Sorry.

So anyway.... Hugs! and thank you for all your kind words and support. You guys are the greatest! And we'll have to wait and see if any one signs up for any of my other classes.

Hope you're having a great weekend.
Ok. Time for me to send out some files to those of you that have requested them. Toodles...

  1. Hello, I just found your blog and noticed that you had a class scheduled but no body signed up....... bummer. I am sorry, however, I was wondering where you live because I have been looking for a class and if you live close I would want a class and maybe can get more. I know it is a long shot but worth it. Thank you, Leslie rldesantiago@aol.com

Sorry your class was cancelled. I'm sure you were looking forward to it. I would sign up in a flash if I didn't have to catch a plane to get there !!
Have confidence that you will think of something to catch their attention and sign up.
Wishing you loads of luck ...

  8. What?!!! I can't believe it...you know I would have been there, front row for sure. This Joann's store must be in some remote area where the only cricut known is an insect. Jen, I think you should mention which Joann's you're teaching at, you know for sure if any of your readers knew they lived close by they would be there!

  11. That's so cra**y. What's wrong with those people? Please don't take it personally, you know you have quite a cult following! If you ever decide to hold "0nline" classes, sign me up! I'm glad you got to celebrate your kiddo's birthday, though.

  14. Sorry to hear about your class cancellation - I feel for you. I was to teach Scrapbooking 101 at my local JoAnns store last Sat too and since it was Easter weekend - no one signed up and it was cancelled - I never got a phone call and drove all the way over there on Sat morning just ot find out it was cancelled - well I got to kool layouts out of it. I had to figure them out myself - someone walked away with the samples I needed.

Not to sorry - try again. They are hammering for your type of class in Ohio - come here -come here! I only have a smiggen of your knowledge - so I could not teach that class at all.

Try again! I am teaching all summer at the local JoAnns here. It will get better- promise!

  17. Well, I sure wish that I lived close enough to attend your classes. You do beautiful work and are so very generous to share with others. I am sorry that nobody wanted to take advantage of your teaching. They just don't know how lucky they are to have someone with so much talent who is willing to teach them.

Sorry to hear your class was cancelled. Obviously, they did not know the treat they were in for. So many of us wish we lived near enough to take a class from you. Hang in there, girl. Great things are in store for you.
