Tutorial: Hide Selected Contour

Last weekend Diane (Capadia Designs) spent some time emailing back and forth playing with the quirks dealing with Hide Selected Contour. She posted her tutorial the next day. Me? well... I had too many things going on to get my video tutorial filmed, uploaded to youtube and then added to my blog. I hope the information contained in the tutorial is still relevant. LOL

Special thanks to Diane for troubleshooting this with me!!
And thanks to all of you for your patience with me in getting tutorials filmed and posted to answer your questions.

  1. Thank you Jen and Diane. The two of you are awesome! I found this video tutorial very helpful, I learned several new things and you answered a lot of questions I had about the hide feature.

  2. Thanks so much for the great tutorial. It is always helpful to see your ideas on video.

  3. I am glad that you posted this! Thanks! Have a great week!

  4. I know it must take a lot of time to do these videos, and wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you taking the time to do them.. You do an excellent job.

  5. Very good tutorial Jen!! As always, I have learned something new from you! I appreciate the effort you have put into this.

  6. I loved your video and it is so helpful! Now I just hope I remember all of it when I need to make a welded card.

Thanks again for sharing all of your knowledge and also to Diane for her amazing work too.

  7. Thank you for sharing this video.

I have chosen you as one of the recipients for the "kreative blogger" award. You can find it on my blog. I chose you because you do things with the Design Studio most of us only dream of, and then you turn around and share the files with everyone for free. If it were called the "kreative an kind blogger" award you'd still meet the qualifications. So thank you for continuing to not only share you creativity with us, but enabling us to use some of it in our own creative endeavors.

  8. Keep doing these videos.
    Very helpful indeed.

    Thanks, Jen.

  9. Jen you're awesome. I'm going to embed this in a post on my blog so that my readers will know your "work-arounds". When this latest update for DS came out, I figured out the shortcomings but did not figure out your dandy work-arounds. Thank you so much for sharing, stop by to see the feature post on your blog.

  10. WOW this is awesome!! Thanks for this information. I had this problem the other day and for the life of me I could NOT get it to do the hide contour - NOW this video makes so much sense. Thank you so much to you Jen for the video as well as Diane (I love her blog) Hugs to all, T

(Oh Jen - I laughed so hard at the comment you left me on my blog - you are so sweet!! Thanks for stopping by)

  11. Wow thanks for that video :)).

  12. I is just amazing how you can whip these designs out no problem. Zip, zip, done.

    Great job!

  13. Thank you for the tutorial. I haven't downloaded the update, yet, but now will know how to use hide contour.

  14. Jen, thanks to you (and Diane) for this tutorial and all your others. You are really teaching me how to use my DS. I really appreciate all the work you put into all you do and appreciate you more for sharing. Without your and other members helpfulness,I'd be lost. You, however, are amazing!
